
Immersive and interactive retail journey for e& Etisalat

At GITEX Global 2024, Scott & Irwin partnered with e& Etisalat to deliver an imaginative and futuristic shopping experience. The project centered on an interactive multitouch table that enabled visitors to virtually navigate through a store, compare products intuitively, and access detailed information using conductive rings and a dual-touch display. Users could also share data directly with their smartphones simply by placing them on the table. To complement this, a new immersive sports application for Apple Vision Pro was showcased, offering real-time visualization of Formula 1 races and football matches across multiple virtual screens. The experience included seamless integration with e&’s exclusive payment system, allowing purchases via QR codes and smart lockers for product collection. With strong public engagement and curiosity, the project successfully demonstrated how interactive technologies and XR can shape the future of retail and entertainment, positioning e& as a leader in digital innovation.
