Exposé

In the Goethe National Museum in Weimar, a Scape Movable multitouch table was integrated into the permanent exhibition “Lebensfluten – Tatensturm.” The first application focuses on selected Faust-related objects and allows visitors to explore digital collection items in detail. The installation supports the Klassik Stiftung Weimar’s Faust theme year 2025 and adds an interactive layer to the exhibition experience.

The second multitouch table has been successfully integrated into the permanent exhibition ‘Lebensfluten – Tatensturm’ at the Goethe National Museum, the visitor feedback has been consistently positive, and we are very satisfied with the first use case focusing on selected ‘Faust’ objects. The collaboration with Interactive Scape has been excellent!
The underlying CMS enabled museum staff to manage and update the displayed collection objects independently, while also providing the flexibility to adapt the user interface and visual design to the exhibition’s specific requirements without additional software development.
The multitouch table creates a bridge between our Faust exhibition and our extensive collections. It encourages visitors to discover additional objects, contexts and stories, creating new pathways into Goethe's Faust.
