Stadtwerke Stuttgart – Exponat „Green Hydrogen Hub“

As part of the project, our partner Bruce B. corporate communication developed an interactive exhibit that brings the Green Hydrogen Hub to life — a facility currently being built directly on the banks of the River Neckar in Stuttgart-Hedelfingen. Located in Stadtwerke Stuttgart’s lobby, the Energy Plaza, the exhibit introduces interested members of the public to the technology and benefits of green hydrogen in an accessible way, helping to break down barriers and make the subject feel less intimidating.

The application was developed using Unreal Engine. Visitors explore the architectural model on a Scape X® Touchtable, using a Plexiglas object to navigate intuitively and select hotspots. Step by step, the exhibit explains how green hydrogen is produced — from water and electrolysis through to storage.

An interactive AI avatar answers specific questions through voice input and output. A comprehensive knowledge base and a retrieval-augmented generation system operating in the background ensure high-quality responses, helping visitors feel well informed, understood and engaged. In this way, advanced technology becomes tangible and approachable.
