Development of an interactive object-driven multitouch application as the central exhibit for the interactive exhibition at the DDR Museum, Berlin, which is open 365 days a year and is visited by up to 2.500 visitors daily.
Our Scape X® multitouch table in the DDR Museum’s exhibition is at the center of the themes of state power, the party, and ideology. It is framed by a desk symbolizing the power of the Socialist Unity Party (SED), which originally came from the Frankfurt (Oder) town hall. The ensemble, consisting of the Scape X® multitouch table and the desk, represents the workspace of a mid-level state or party official, arranged in the typical T-shape that emphasizes hierarchy.

The DDR Museum addresses complex topics at the multitouch table. The experience of the last 10 years shows: the visitors are thrilled because the interactive history education there makes history accessible and tangible.
