– With an integrated application PC: Scape® Pro and Scape® Movable
– Without an integrated application PC: Scape® Tangible and, as standard, Scape® Lab
With Scape® Pro and Scape® Movable, the PC is integrated into the table system. The installation space, cabling, ventilation and power-on mechanism are designed specifically for the available PC models. Scape® Tangible displays contain an internal processing unit for the touch and object recognition firmware, but the application itself runs on an external PC or laptop. Scape® Lab is also supplied without a PC as standard, allowing different computers to be used flexibly. A suitable PC can be supplied as an option. The latest PC specifications can be found in the webshop on the relevant product page under “Models and Specifications” → “Technical Data”. The configuration may vary depending on the product model and application requirements.
Depending on the model, Scape® Tangible displays feature multiple HDMI inputs, DisplayPort and a USB connection for transmitting touch data. A network connection can also be used for TUIO and object recognition.
A native USB-C video input is not currently specified for the standalone Scape® Tangible displays. Computers with USB-C or Thunderbolt can generally be connected using a suitable HDMI or DisplayPort adapter. Some multitouch tables with an integrated PC also feature USB-C or Thunderbolt ports on the PC.
The exact connections are listed on the respective product page and in the manual under “Connections and Controls.”
Our multi-touch, object recognition and interactive applications are used in showrooms and brand spaces, at live events and trade fairs, as well as in museums, science centres and educational and research institutions around the world, with Europe being our main market.

The warranty and liability for defects provisions agreed in the respective quotation, purchase contract and General Terms and Conditions apply to the hardware.
Their scope and duration may vary depending on the product, component and project configuration. Any additional warranties, warranty extensions or service agreements are stated separately. Binding information can therefore be found in the relevant contractual and order documents.
For specific questions, please contact sales@interactive-scape.com.
The external PC requires a suitable HDMI or DisplayPort output for video transmission and a USB connection for touch data. A network connection may also be required when using TUIO or other network-based functions.
The necessary processing and graphics performance primarily depends on the application: basic presentations and 2D applications require less performance than high-resolution video, 3D, Unity or Unreal applications.
The display connections are listed on the respective product page and in the manual under “Connections” or “Technical Specifications.” We recommend coordinating the PC configuration with the software provider or our team.
Our Scape® Tangible Displays are premium devices that we have developed ourselves over many years and which are professionally integrated in Germany in accordance with our specifications. Unlike most of our competitors, we do not simply upgrade consumer hardware; instead, we research and develop our own professional, closed hardware systems featuring unique, patented technologies. These systems are mature, high-quality products that undergo extensive quality testing and are designed and certified for intensive, continuous use in demanding environments – a fact that is also reflected in the choice of materials and components.
Furthermore, by activating the Scape X® Engine, our hardware systems open up unique possibilities worldwide thanks to the integrated artificial intelligence and the resulting quality and flexibility of our touch and object recognition.
The difference between the two models does not lie in the Scape X® technology – on the contrary: both utilise our patented, AI-powered Scape X® technology, resulting in the same object recognition capabilities. The difference lies rather in the hardware specifications.
The Tile Pro | Scape X® uses hardware from DISPLAX, whilst the Scape® Tangible is equipped with original hardware from Interactive Scape.
The key differences: the DISPLAX multi-touch screen measures just 55", features Full HD resolution and a wafer-thin 2 mm bezel, allowing you to connect as many displays as you like to create a breathtaking visual experience in the form of a giant table and/or a video wall. The Scape® Tangible is available in 55” and 65” sizes, features 4K/UHD resolution and a standard bezel.
As you can see, both products have their advantages, and you can be sure that both are of the highest quality.
The devices are designed for use in dry, controlled indoor environments. They should be protected from moisture, condensation, direct sunlight, dust and extreme temperatures.
As the standard devices do not have a specified protection rating for outdoor environments, unprotected outdoor use is not intended.
An outdoor installation is only possible following an individual technical assessment and with a suitable protective enclosure. Information about permitted temperatures and other environmental conditions can be found on the product page under “Technical Specifications” and in the manual under “General Information” and “Technical Specifications.”
Our Scape® Tangible displays do not have a built-in application PC. The advantage for you is that you are free to choose a PC that meets your specific requirements and can upgrade it as and when necessary, without the display itself being a factor. The displays contain a processing unit running the firmware that enables touch and object recognition.
However, applications require an external computer, which must be connected to the display via a video output, USB (USB Touch) or Ethernet (TUIO) cable. We can supply this PC pre-configured, but this is not essential – you can also use your own PC or laptop.
With our tables, it depends: the Scape® Lab is supplied without a PC as standard, as it is often purchased by universities, institutes, etc., which wish to use the same table across several departments and therefore with different PCs. With Scape® Pro and Movable, the PC is an integral part of the overall design and features bespoke storage compartments for our PC models, as well as appropriate cabling, ventilation, etc. In this case, it is not advisable to use your own PC – although this is technically possible; please contact us to clarify any uncertainties in this regard.
Whenever possible, disconnect the device from the power supply before cleaning. First remove dust and loose particles using a soft, lint-free microfibre cloth. For more persistent marks, the cloth can be slightly dampened with water or a suitable display cleaner.
Never spray liquids directly onto the device and avoid dripping-wet cloths, abrasive products, aggressive glass cleaners and solvents. Excessive pressure on the surface should also be avoided.
Further information can be found in the respective manual in the “Cleaning Instructions” section. The compatibility of disinfectants should be checked before regular use.
With our patented Scape X® Object Recognition, you benefit from maximum rotational angle and positional accuracy, sensitivity and speed (without jerkiness). Our AI-trained displays recognise up to 24 unique IDs as standard; for bespoke requirements, we can provide 100+ unique IDs.
Of course. Our displays are frameless and designed to be professionally integrated into a variety of table models, exhibits or furniture.
In our webshop you can always download the technical drawings of our products as well as the comprehensive instruction manuals, e.g. with information on housing and ventilation. But of course we invite you to take a look at our tables, which, after many years of development and a lot of experience, have been designed as best practice for great user experiences.

While effortlessly rolling on wheels it is also height-adjustable and offers the ability to seamlessly switch between horizontal and vertical display orientations. Discover the freedom to transform your interactive space.

With its brushed stainless steel table frame and the option for a one or two-sided deposit the Scape® Pro is the perfect fit for every occasion. Discover new ways of collaboration and create lasting impressions.
